National Qualification Group Awards (NQGA) is the term which covers National Certificates (NCs) and National Progression Awards (NPAs).

NPAs and NCs develop skills much sought after by employers. They encourage learners to think differently and aim higher. As such, these qualifications are relevant to anyone, including those considering self-employment

They are aimed at assessing a defined set of skills and knowledge in specialist vocational areas. They also link to National Occupational Standards, which are the basis of SVQs.

National Certificates prepare people for employment, career development or progression to more advanced study at HNC/HND level.

They also develop transferable knowledge including Core Skills.

Courses will run part time over 6 months term time only.

This National Progression Award (NPA) Level 3 introduces learners to techniques that are important in the film industry and media sector.

They also develop transferable knowledge including Core Skills.

National Progression Awards (NPAs) Level 4 assess a defined set of skills and knowledge in specialist vocational areas, linked to National Occupational Standards. The NPA in Film and Media at SCQF level 4 introduces learners to techniques that are important in the film sector

The Diploma in Creative Media at SCQF level 7 is a work-based qualification that will allow learners to demonstrate their aptitude in creative media. This diploma will develop the learner's confidence and awareness of the skills that they have acquired which they can use for employment and/or further study
