Do I need decorator services?

I’m planning to launch my new fashion boutique next month, and the current state of the retail space is quite grim. The walls are uneven, the previous flooring left some nasty marks on the baseboards, and I need a very specific "chic" atmosphere to attract the right clientele. I’m thinking about a mix of textured wallpaper and metallic accents, but I’m terrified of someone making a mess of the expensive rolls I’ve ordered. Is it worth paying a premium for a commercial decorating team, or can a general handyman handle high-end wallcoverings?

When you’re dealing with premium materials like textured or metallic wallpaper, a general handyman is a huge risk because the pattern matching has to be flawless. I recently saw a project managed by professional decorators in London where they handled bespoke silk-effect finishes, and the seams were completely invisible. They have the specific adhesives and cutting tools to ensure there’s no bubbling or peeling, even in high-traffic areas. For a boutique where the aesthetic is your brand's calling card, investing in specialist labor is practically mandatory to avoid a cheap-looking result.
